Our latest booking took us to the dazzling High Brockholme Barns, the newest gem on the luxury wedding scene – and trust us when we say, it did not disappoint!
With its polished concrete floors, floor-to-ceiling windows offering incredible views of the Cleveland and Hambleton hills, exposed brickwork, and warm wood touches, this place is rustic chic with a capital C. Opened in 2024 and already stealing hearts, it was the dreamiest backdrop for Kaitlyn’s big day!
Kaitlyn knew what she wanted: good vibes, good views, and great food. So naturally, she called in the Hog Roast Yorkshire dream team to serve up our crowd-favourite Southern Slow Roast Menu. We rolled in early, setting up in a cosy corner just off the main dining room with full-on countryside views. Not a bad “office” for the day!
As always, Hog Roast Yorkshire spent the morning slow-roasting, basting, and creating a feast worthy of celebration. On the menu? Juicy, fall-apart BBQ pork butt, smoky Texan 24-hour beef brisket, and fiery Cajun spiced whole roast chicken. Each bite packed serious flavour, and let’s just say the guests weren’t shy about filling their plates!
And don’t worry – our plant-powered pals were well looked after too. We served up grilled veggie kebabs (halloumi optional), warm flatbreads, and a dreamy tzatziki dip that had everyone feeling included.
To top it off, we brought in the sides like it was a full-on food festival: golden sweet potato and classic fries, gooey mac and cheese, stacks of fresh rolls and wraps, creamy potato salad with sour cream, zingy coleslaw, and crisp mixed leaf salad. All served up rustic-style in bamboo bowls, with eco-friendly cutlery and a condiment selection that could make any foodie swoon.
As guests filed into the dining area – decked out in crisp white linens, elegant white roses, and bottles of red – the atmosphere was electric. Laughter, clinking glasses, and plenty of compliments flying our way.
Kaitlyn’s wedding was pure magic, and we were thrilled to be part of it. Hog Roast Yorkshire brought the flavour, the fun, and the feast – and we can’t wait to do it all again at the next celebration!
