Summer was made for garden parties – I think that’s something all of us can agree on! So, it won’t come as much of a surprise to hear that Hog Roast Leeds has been booked to cater for countless
garden get-togethers this summer.
One recent highlight? A fantastic gathering in the lovely village of Linton. The sun made an appearance, and with the scent of sizzling food drifting through the air, you couldn’t ask for a better setting.
Hog Roast Leeds’ catering manager, Jon headed up the team for this one, arriving early to set up shop in Helen’s beautiful back garden. The occasion? A laid-back afternoon celebration with 35 of her closest friends and family. No big milestone, no fuss, just all of her favourite people, good weather (for once!), and great food.
The menu for the day was our ever-popular Southern Slow Roast, and wow, did it go down a storm. We’re talking melt-in-your-mouth Texan 24-hour beef brisket, juicy Cajun-spiced whole roast chickens, and perfectly grilled butchers sausages (a late change from sticky ribs – and honestly, no regrets!).
For the veggies and vegans, our colourful grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers were served up with warm wraps, cooling tzatziki, and a punchy sweet chilli sauce, which made sure everyone was taken care of.
But it wasn’t just mains – Hog Roast Leeds made sure the sides were absolutely fire (not on fire)! Greek salad, seasonal greens, our creamy, crunchy and utterly delicious gourmet homemade coleslaw, and – drumroll, please – freshly made chips, served piping hot with a help-yourself station of sauces, vinegar, and seasoning.
As you can imagine, guests had a blast piling their plates high and coming back for seconds (and thirds). It’s always a good sign when people are queueing up for more!
Helen, the host with the most, had this to say:

We love what we do, but feedback like that? It never gets old.
