Feeding the Fun at Paragon House – Hog Roast Leeds Brings the Feast

There are regular Fridays… and then there are Fridays spent with Hog Roast Leeds. Fun, tasty, and absolutely legendary.Hog Roast Leeds

Can you guess which kind of Friday the Harold Newsome Ltd team had?

If you guessed the latter, you’d be right! The leading structural steel specialists recently downed tools and enjoyed a well-deserved staff lunch as a reward for all of their hard work. And boy, do they work hard!

From supermarkets to showrooms, warehouses to residential homes, HNL is behind some of the most important structures in the region.

So, when Hog Roast Leeds was asked to cater for their staff appreciation event, we were determined to give our guests a feast worth talking about.

Our man Jon was on site for this one, bringing his usual energy (and serious BBQ skills) to the job. With the grills fired up and the smell of roasted pork drifting across Paragon House, it wasn’t long before the party got into full swing.

With around 70 hungry guests to feed, we weren’t holding back. Hog Roast Leeds kicked things off with a crowd-pleasing whole roasted pig, slow-cooked until the skin was golden and gloriously crunchy. Add apple sauce, a heap of sage and onion stuffing, and your choice of bread rolls or wraps (yep, we brought gluten-free ones too), and we had queues forming in no time.

But you know us – mains are never enough. We love our sides here at Hog Roast Leeds and, on this occasion, laid out a fresh and colourful mix of tomato and mozzarella salad, a bowl of leafy greens, and our homemade creamy coleslaw. And don’t even get us started on the chips – fresh, hot, and dangerously moreish. We had sweet potato and classic varieties on offer, along with a help-yourself station loaded with sauces, salt, and vinegar.

Hog Roast LeedsVeggies and vegans were covered too, with our grilled veggie and halloumi skewers (minus the halloumi for the totally plant-based crowd). Served in wraps with a punchy sweet chilli sauce and a cool tzatziki dip, Hog Roast Leeds made sure no one went without.

Oh, and we threw in butchers’ sausages in hot dog buns just because… well, why not?

The feedback? It speaks for itself:

‘’The talking point of our works family fun day was the beautiful food! From the top quality plates, sauces and sides to the gorgeous pork with all the trimmings. We will definitely be booking again THANK YOU!!!
