Saturday began with worrying looking clouds, but by the time the Spitting Pig Y
orkshire team arrived at their hog roast Baildon venue the sun was shining as Yorkshire’s luck with the Autumn weather continued. We were in Steve and Sara’s lovely back garden, with a view over the moors, helping to celebrate the couple’s 35th wedding anniversary with a hog roast in Baildon. 35 years is Coral and Steve and Sara were celebrating with friends before heading off for a holiday to Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. Not so many hog roasts in Australia so Spitting Pig Yorkshire provided a spread more suited to England’s sunny – but crisp! like the crackling – climate.
Coincidentally, Spitting Pig Yorkshire’s co-owner Jon is from Australia, and not far from where the couple are headed, so the team were able to provide the extra service of travel advice free of charge 🙂
