In preparation for May, our catering manager Jon was hired to provide catering at a local village pub in Yorkshire. Martin is the pub manager and he wanted to do something special on one of the bank holiday Mondays to attract new customers and to provide something new for his dedicated regulars. For the occasion, he hired Hog Roast Cragg Vale to provide a delicious barbeque in the beer garden, as well as hosting a local band to perform some well-loved songs. Our BBQ menu was chosen as it is ideal for enjoying in the sunshine and is the perfect addition to any beer garden!
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Cragg Vale team arrived at the pub in the morning to prepare for the 1:00pm serving time. Our menu was on offer between 1:00pm and 4:00pm to allow as many guests as possible to enjoy what we had to offer. For the mains, we provided succulent pork sausages, veggie sausages, British beef burgers, halloumi and vegetable skewers, and marinated chicken kebabs. The mains were served in fresh bread rolls, alongside corn on the cob, crunchy coleslaw, homemade chips, and a selection of tasty salad dishes. Overall, this created a varied and delicious main meal with something for everyone to enjoy and more than enough to go around!
