Recently, we had the pleasure of catering for an incredibly special day, Antony and Anne’s 20th wedding anniversary! The pair had invited 60 guests to join them in marking the momentous occasion at their private residence nearby and had asked us to complete the celebrations by serving our Classic Hog Roast Menu.
Hog Roast Harrogate’s succulent and perfectly roasted hog became the star of the evening, satisfying the carnivorous cravings of the guests with its irresistible flavours. Everyone loved the tantalising combination of mouth-watering pulled pork, crisp crackling, sage and onion stuffing and applesauce on gluten-free rolls, which served as a soul-pleasing treat. For those following strictly meat-free diets, the option of grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers with flatbreads and homemade tzatziki dip showcased our catering team’s commitment to inclusivity.
Complementing the hearty main dishes were sides that added layers of flavour to the meal. The seasonal green leaf salad provided a refreshing contrast, while the coleslaw added a creamy and tangy element. The inclusion of gluten-free rolls allowed the guests freedom to play around with a variety of unique flavour combos.
Hog Roast Harrogate didn’t stop at just delivering delectable food. The catering team ensured that the dining experience was as elegant as the event itself. Wooden crockery and cutlery were chosen to infuse a rustic charm, elevating the ambiance of the celebration.
Our catering manager, Jon, and his team at Hog Roast Harrogate made sure that every detail was meticulously planned and executed. The guests were not only treated to a sumptuous feast but were also able to create lasting memories around the table, savouring every bite and sharing stories.
As the event came to an end, Antony and Anne thanked Hog Roast Harrogate for a wonderful evening. They also appreciated the extra mile taken by our team in cleaning away all the mess left behind, which left them to reminisce on a fantastic night.
