Hog Roast Knaresborough Catering For Leeds Rhino’s Rugby Team

Hog Roast Knaresborough were delighted to be recently asked by Anthony to cater for Leeds Rhinos Rugby Team at Carriages Wine Bar in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire. Catering for this type of event is something that Hog Roast Knaresborough excels at alongside catering for weddings, private and corporate events and a selection of menus is available that will ensure that guests will always go away fulfilled and satisfied that the food that they have eaten has been high quality, delicious and with a professional service.

For all events, our chef Andy at Hog Roast Knaresborough always liaises closely with the client to ensure that all expectations are met (and regularly surpassed!) and that the Yorkshire - pig1most appropriate menu is selected. For this type of event, we have a wide selection of menus and we discussed with the client, which would be most suitable. The menu selection ranges from informal, Hog in a Roll food to more formal sit-down catering and the client was clear that this would be very informal and relaxed, and that our traditional hog in a roll option would be an excellent choice with the client bringing everything else including napkins, cutlery and bread rolls. Alongside our traditional hog roast, we always ensure that there is flexibility in the menus to ensure that all tastes and requirements are catered for and we regularly customise our menus accordingly as and when required; this one was dead easy though and we know how hungry rugby players usually are so ensured that we brought plenty of meat with us as we knew that seconds and thirds would probably be required!

We arrived at the wine bar and chose our spot to setup; this looked like it would be a fun party and we were astounded to see Elvis lurking in the corner ready with his microphone to entice any of the players to perform a singalong with him; our chef Andy was asked to get up and perform but politely declined as there were hungry mouths to feed! Once set up and up to speed, we were ready to serve the delicious hog which all went down a treat with many guests commenting how tasty the food was and coming back for more!
