Hog Roast Bradford Serving Pig to Police Officers!

When it comes to going along with a joke, we can certainly do that too, so when one of our customers thought it would be funny to serve a pig to a room full of police officers for her husband’s retirement party, who were we to say no!

For the police sergeant’s farewell do, which was held at Muddy Puddle in Bradford, our chef Jon would be serving our very popular Private Party Menu 1 of tasty hog roast rolls for around 100 guests. We prepare the meat from scratch and cook the hog nice and slowly for several hours until it’s golden brown and the meat is really succulent. Once the meat has rested, we fill floury bead rolls or wraps with juicy slivers of pork and plenty of salty crackling bits, top with our homemade duet of apple sauce and sage and onion stuffing, and hand over to the guest to let them add some sauce if preferred. For this party, we were asked to supply our homemade barbecue sauce, too, but we always bring along a selection and plenty of serviettes.

For this party, Hog Roast Bradford also cooked some delicious veggie skewers for the vegetarian guests, full of mushrooms, peppers, courgetteĀ and red onion. All of these and the hog were stripped clean.
