Here at Hog Roast Buttercrambe, we’re always very appreciative to our dear fathers, so when Eileen and her kids called us up looking to give a very special surprise to their beloved husband and father Patrick for this Father’s Day we were only far too happy to oblige.
Kids Ally and Georgia told us that their special daddy loved a good roast, but that he was often worn out from work that he seldom has the time or energy to put together a proper one. “A great big Pig please!” they came asking us for, and certainly if there’s one thing we know here at Hog Roast Buttercrambe it is great big juicy pigs! It was decided that our Classic Hog Roast menu would be most suited for Patrick, and when we showed up to set up in their outdoor garden and surprise Patrick on Sunday afternoon he really could not believe his luck. Our chef team had everything sorted for this small, intimate affair amongst the family, so Patrick for once just got to sit back and enjoy his delicious hog roast to his heart’s content.
It will forever be a Father’s Day to remember as Patrick and co dined out on our classic roast complete with our very own fresh apple sauce, crackling, homemade sage and onion stuffing, a vibrant summer salad, and herb dressed new potatoes. If that wasn’t enough there was some after-dinner ice-cream for the kiddies, although Patrick was satisfied with his fill by the then – stuffed full with roast and delighted with his Father’s Day surprise.
