Hog Roast Harrogate were delighted to be recently asked by Laura to cater for 30 guests at a corporate event for Schofield Money on Otley Road in Harrogate. It was clear after discussing with Laura that the event would be quite formal but relaxed and we discussed which menu was most appropriate and with six to choose from for this type of event, the client wanted our formal indoor buffet service with our hog roast, sausages, a mixed salad, our chef’s (Jon’s) own pasta salad, jacket potatoes and a classic Caesar salad. The client also requested that we have a couple of desserts; profiteroles and lemon torte always go down well!

We liaised closely with the organisers and we arrived in plenty of time to set up our equipment, carefully managing the loading and access points. As soon as the pig started to roast and the fabulous aromas from the pig started wafting around, plenty of people came over to investigate and, with mouths already watering, were looking forward to the delicious food that we would be serving. For the non-meat eaters, they were also impressed with the salads that we had prepared and couldn’t wait to tuck in.
Once serving commenced at 1.30, the food was quickly devoured with many coming back for more and with very positive comments about the professional service and high-quality food that we served; we get many repeat clients and Hog Roast Harrogate hope to be back at the next event for Schofield Money!
