Hog Roast Wakefield are more than just your typical caterers! This week Hog Roast Wakefield chefs Jon and Stephen had been enlisted to provide wedding catering at the Northern Monk Brewery in Leeds by client Chris. We had been informed there would be approximately one hundred people attending and Chris had chosen our Alfresco Wedding Menu! As previously mentioned, when you hire Hog Roast Wakefield there is no request too grand and so when Chris requested two different meat options, we were happy to oblige, after all if you can’t decide why not have both! Chris chose a beautiful spit roasted pig and whole roasted lamb served with all of the trimmings.
Accompaniments for this event included multiple salads (Tomato and Basil, Classic Caesar, and Coleslaw salad) in addition to some lovely new potatoes roasted with rosemary and garlic. Finally, we had been requested to bring along some of our locally sourced butchers selection sausages to complete the menu.
With the wedding ceremony over, first was a drinks reception outside the venue whilst guests mingled, and the official wedding pictures were taken. Next guests were seated and following the toasts we began to serve our Hog Roast Wakefield- much to the guests delight!
With everyone happy and well fed we discreetly tidied away our equipment before congratulating the newlyweds and thanking them for allowing us to be a part of their special day.
